Asheville is best known for its beer, food, Blue Ridge mountains, and outdoor adventures. But what about its spa and relaxation services? There are a plethora of spas in this little mountain town, but finding a spa to accommodate a large group can be tricky. As always, we are here to help.
Here are our top Asheville Spa picks for
larger groups and Bachelorette Parties:
The Deets: Bada Bastu is a Nordic-style bath house filled with natural light, beautiful plants and clean designs. It is the perfect place to chill. Bada Bastu follows the traditional Hot, Cold, Relax method, meaning, you sauna for about 15 minutes, take a plunge in the cold pool, chill on the heated furniture and repeat. Feeling extra chill? Massage and foot soaks also available.
Logistics: Bada Bastu is a great option for large groups. They are walk-in only during regular business hours but private parties can be accommodated with a minimum of 12 at select times.
How we can help: though this spa is typically “first-come-first-serve”, we can reserve your group’s space ahead of time for entry on Mon | Tues | Thurs | Fri at 10am or Sat | Sun at 8am. Want it all to yourselves? Rent the entire space from 8-11pm on Fri | Sat | Sun evenings. Add on chair massage, bring your own tasty beverages (no glass containers!), and relax the night away. A unique way to kick off a bachelorette weekend…or a great opportunity to detox afterwards! Contact Us for details.
Relax, we’ll come to you!
The Deets: Asheville Wellness Tours offers mobile massage treatments, which are perfect for large groups. Forget about the hassle of trying to find a spa that will fit a party of 15. We can send multiple therapists so your relaxation doesn’t have to take up a full day. Your therapist brings massage tables, linens, lotions, oil and music. All you have to do is relax!
Logistics: Minimum group size 4. For parties larger than 4, we’ll send a team of therapists to maximize your time. Locations further than 10 miles from downtown Asheville include an additional travel fee. Reserve Online!

The Deets: The Asheville Salt Cave is loved by locals and tourists alike. It is a nature-inspired salt cave in the heart of downtown Asheville, featuring an enriched microclimate, which allows the body and mind to gain relaxation, balance, & healing. We often get asked, what do you do in the cave? You do not have to do anything to receive the benefits. Sit back, close your eyes, relax and breathe.
Logistics: The Asheville Salt Cave also offers massage services and body scrubs. Private cave sessions or Yoga in the Cave are available for groups.
How We Can Help: add a salt cave session on to the end of your Walking Tour, schedule a Private Group Yoga class in the cave, or book a private session for your crew as part of your custom itinerary. Overwhelmed with options? Contact Us

This is a great option for groups that are interested in a variety of services.
Logistics: Illusions has 5 treatment rooms and can accommodate up to 6 folks at a time pending therapist availability.
